In accordance with the Bylaws, Arrha Credit Union held its 94^th annual meeting on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 145 Industry Avenue, Springfield location. Michael Ostrowski, President & CEO, welcomed everyone to the annual meeting and provided an update that included staff appreciation, positive financial performance, personalized member service, highlighted latest ITM technology, and high performance of the staff. The staff were applauded for their superior member service and sharing the latest technology with members to support their busy lives.

Chairman, Todd Cieplinski, thanked everyone for attending and noted a successful year. He recognized staff and Directors for their hard work and dedication. Jodi Turati, Director, recognized three $1,000 scholarships were awarded this year to worthy students based on scholastic merit and civic achievement. Michael Ostrowski, President & CEO concluded his annual meeting remarks by expressing gratitude to everyone for their dedication, attendance, and anticipation of another successful year ahead.  Chairman, Todd Cieplinski, ended the meeting with accolades for its members and their trust in the staff and executive team.

Jodi Turati, Director, and Scholarship Committee Chair along with Elizabeth Lewis, Director & Scholarship Committee Member recognized three $1,000 scholarship awardees for their scholastic merit and civic achievement.

Criteria used to evaluate the applicants were scholastic achievement, must be a senior high school student, must be a member of Arrha Credit Union or student whose parent is a member; outside activities, community endeavors, and intention to attend a two-year or four-year, degree-granting college or university. All applications and transcripts had to be submitted no later than at the end of business on February 23, 2024. As scholarship winners, we invited them to stop by the credit union and if they open up a checking account, the credit union will deposit $100 into their account.

The following applicants were selected as recipients of the 2024 Anthony J. Serafino Scholarship:

1. Jorden Borders, Springfield International Charter School

2. Margaret Cronin, Southwick Regional School

3. Antonio Joao Goncalves, Pope Francis Preparatory School
