
Harry (Chip) Moore III brings more than three decades of leadership in finance, operations, and organizational strategy. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Pittsfield Cooperative Bank, where he led financial planning, risk management, and team development while helping guide the bank’s long-term growth.
Throughout his career, Chip has been known for turning ideas into action. He’s launched innovative programs like Bank-Owned Life Insurance (BOLI), Rewards Checking, and overdraft solutions, and has co-managed major projects—including a $1.5 million construction initiative and a $1.2 million branch expansion.
Before joining Pittsfield Cooperative, Chip held leadership roles at Greylock Federal Credit Union and Adams Co-operative Bank, where he honed his expertise in investment oversight, compliance, and strategic planning. Colleagues know him for his steady leadership, clear communication, and ability to connect financial goals with a broader mission.
Chip holds an MBA from the University of Maryland, completed executive banking programs at Babson College and Fairfield University, and earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Westfield State College. Outside of work, he’s deeply involved in his community, having served on boards for the Red Cross, the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, and the Cheshire Lions Club.
